Marine Assembler/Electrician

Marine assemblers and electricians work in our rigging areas with other assemblers to outfit our boats with everything from the outboard engines to the complex inner workings of the console. Our rigging shop is responsible for turning an empty hull into a fine work of art that is complete with everything our customers need.

Job Requirements

• Able to install various outboard, inboard diesel and gas engines
• Installs all wiring, fuel, control and oil systems
• Installs 12Vdc, 24 Vdc and 110 Vac electrical systems
• Knows the proper use of Connectors
• Can wire equipment in accordance with OEM instruction
• Familiar with ABYC standards, has a knowledge of Voltage and AMP meters
• Can read electrical drawings (i.e. identify breakers, switches and size of breakers)
• Can install various marine electronics to include calibration and integration
• Calibrates gauges in accordance with OEM instruction
• Understands use of correct size and approved fuel, exhaust and water hoses
• Installs steering systems in accordance with OEM instruction
• Installs various drive systems: Jet, Outdrives and Conventional
• Can troubleshoot, conduct fuel systems tests, and rely on supervisor’s judgement to complete goals, using established company procedures to work in a safe manner
• Will assist with other shop duties as assigned
• Has general background or knowledge of carpentry and shop procedures


Pay and Benefits
