This 28-foot vessel‘s mission is to perform Hydrographic Survey Work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District. The Catamaran 28 is powered by twin 250 HP Mercury Verado Outboard motors that allow for speeds over 40 knots. For extra stability, the vessel includes Mercury Joystick Piloting with Skyhook feature that uses GPS technology to maintain position and heading. Silver Ships included navigation electronics such as a survey station for processing data and Garmin GPSMAP7610XSV.

26-foot vessel in operation for USACE – Philadelphia District and used for Hydrographic Survey. Meeting strict stability and performance requirements, the vessel specializes in beach survey operations. The spacious climate controlled cabin is equipped with two survey operator stations and ample storage for mission gear. The vessel is equipped with the Universal Sonar Mount to deploy the multi-beam sonar and has a fixed single beam sonar.

38-foot boat built to allow researchers at CMU to travel further into the Great Lakes to study ecology, limnology and other subjects. Constructed to provide a stable ride despite punishing waves and a variety of depths that range from six to 350 feet deep. The vessel also features ample storage for research equipment and space for students and staff.

Freedom 26 | USACE Baltimore

This 26-foot survey vessel was designed to be the “workhorse” for Baltimore District’s small navigation projects. It is equipped with single- and multi-beam sonars for hydrographic surveys and will support maintenance of more than 100 federal navigation projects on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. The vessel includes a fully enclosed cabin and twin Honda outboards, among other mission-specific features.
